School is closed, now what???            

Here are some ideas to use on school closings:

• Grab a hot cocoa and a good book.  Read the story to an adult, stuffed animal, or yourself.  Don't forget to practice using your decoding strategies.

• Complete one of the story maps located below for a book you read.  Bring it to school completed to earn a sticker.

• Make flashcards with the words posted under the sight word link.  See how many words you can read quickly in a minute.  On the following school day, bring the flashcards to school for an extra sticker! 

• Practice the skills we have learned in class by using the links on fun with phonics
